The Moe Flex Dance ‘La Rueda Levels 1 + 2’ DVD is brand new and part of a set of new DVDs which have just been produced. This particular DVD runs for approximately 60 minutes.
To give you a taste of what this particular DVD has to offer, the back cover states that:-
“Moe Flex, the man with the biggest smile in salsa and one of the most exciting, inspiring and entertaining characters on the dance scene brings you………”

This DVD is broken down into 3 sections – Rueda Basics, Rueda Calls/Moves and a Demonstration of Rueda using all the moves and calls that have just been explained.
Moe explains and teaches the basic Cuban footwork and movements that are required in La Rueda, plus a good selection of calls and moves so would be suited to complete beginners to La Rueda, or improvers who already have the basics but want to build on their collection La Rueda moves.
For the beginners, Moe teaches Guapea, Pa’l Medio, Americano, Arriba, Tarro, and Dile Que No, which are all required before you can move onto moves and calls within Rueda.
Once you have learnt and practised the basics, Moe then moves on to teach a good section of calls and moves which include Fly, Echevarrira, Enchufla, Enchufla Doble, Enchufla con Mambo, Dame Una, Dame Dos and Dame Tres, La Prima, La Prima con Hermana, La Familia, Sombrero, and lastly Sombrero con Mambo.
Finally, Moe and his group of La Rueda dancers demonstrate all of the moves and calls so that you can see how they can be used when you are dancing La Rueda yourself.
Again I found Moe’s teaching style to be clear, and everything was well explained and demonstrated. More comedy extras and out-takes have also been included within this DVD, which are all very funny and well worth watching :o)
