ABOUT LITTLE LIZ
Recognised for her amazing spins, feminine style, smooth, sensual body movements and musicality, Little Liz (Liz Raciti) began learning to dance in 2002. After falling in love with Salsa, she travelled to Los Angeles to learn from the best in the world at the Puerto Rico Salsa Congress in San Juan. Here that she was first introduced to Salsa on Two. After attending workshops, performances and social dancing, Liz returned to Australia inspired.
Her rapid climb up the salsa ranks was spotted by one of her former instructors, Jamie Jesus, and in 2004 he invited her to be a member of the Latin Dance Australia crew and his dance partner. Since then, Little Liz has travelled the world teaching and performing Salsa with Jesus at events such as the UK Salsa Congress, Hong Kong Salsa Festival, Singapore International Salsa Festival, Japan Salsa Congress, Korea Salsa Congress and Asia Latin Festival, Malaysian Salsa Festival and LA Salsa Congress.
Pursuing her strong passion for teaching, Liz has been a regular instructor with the LDA, running classes in various styles including Bachata, Cha Cha, forró, Axé, Salsa on One and on Two, Samba, Samba de Gafieira, Forró, and Zouk Lambada. Her workshops combine a precise teaching method with her eye for detail and sense of fun.
Zouk Lambada is Liz’s latest passion. Partnering with Allan Dantas & Jaime Jesus, she is taking Australia by storm with her sensual style of Zouk.
