SHOWS
GBSExII will feature 3 evening showcases from the world’s very best salsa performers. It will be difficult to top last year’s awesome shows, but we’ve a line-up of the highest quality which promises more not-to-be-missed performances.
 Eider and Caterine are back again – they wowed us all last year with their incredible Tango shows plus look out for Victor and Gaby from Mexico for something a little different!
WORKSHOPS
GBSExII offers an unparalleled choice of workshops with over 75 planned for this year. Choose from turn patterns, styling, footwork, spinning or maybe try something a bit different like Samba, Tango or Quebradita? There are workshops for all levels and styles of salsa including a dedicated Beginners and Masterclass programme.
GBSEx is the first salsa congress to offer workshop pre-booking, which means no over-crowding guaranteed! You can choose your workshops at your leisure and at any time prior to the event.
 You can swap your choices and buy additional workshops at the event if you want to. We publish our workshop schedule in April, which means you get to see it before you buy your ticket and can buy the right ticket for you at a price that suits
PARTIES
Salsology is famed for it’s buzzing party atmospheres, and last year’s GBSEx was no exception. On Sunday evening, we had difficulty getting you all to leave! This year we’re applying for a later licence so you can drink and dance for even longer – we’re hoping for a 5am finish.
We’ve got 3 party rooms playing the best in salsa and Latin music from hard core salsa through to your salsa favourites, and our line-up of DJs includes Salsology residents and new faces for this year, DJ Sizzla (Nottingham), DJ Steve Bridger (B'ham) & Del Salereo (Tropicana FM) - all sure to keep the dancefloor jumpin.

GBSExII returns to Manchester’s Town Hall in the heart of the city centre. This is a truly breathtaking venue with gorgeous ballrooms and beautiful wooden flooring. It has 7 venues all under one roof, plus the added benefit of Manchester’s cafés, bars, restaurants & shopping on the doorstep. GBSExII once again coincides with Manchester’s Christmas markets too which provides an added festival-feel to our congress.
