Tito and Tamara Cha Cha Cha Moves DVD Print E-mail

When I found out that Tito and Tamara had released limited copies of their first Cha Cha Cha DVD, I was first in the line with my money in my hand! For those of you that do not know Tito and Tamara, this couple are absolutely fantastic to watch and very inspirational!

The first time I saw Tito and Tamara was in 2005 at the UK Salsa Congress. I remember watching them, thinking, ‘I want to dance Cha Cha, just like that’!

My previous experience with Cha Cha had been very ‘Ballroom Orientated’ for want of an expression. Tito and Tamara incorporate their own style into Cha Cha, they are very expressive and that’s just how I like it!

If I had to choose one outstanding feature on this DVD, it would be the option to learn with Tito or Tamara. People have different learning styles and I found this to be a very useful feature (my preference was learning with Tito, just in case you wanted to know!)

Another thing noted was the amount of content on the DVD. I have purchased many a salsa DVD in my time, to find that there are only a few moves on there, and they repeat the same moves on the DVD/Video. Isn’t that what the rewind/skip back button is for?

This DVD also caters for more than one level, I asked one of my improver students to try out the beginning of the footwork section and she found it relatively easy to follow.

Overall, I found this DVD to be informative, well put together (courtesy of HYM) and great value for money! Keep your eyes peeled, we’ll be stocking them in the Salsa Central Shop shortly!
