 Alberto Barros is one of the icons of Colombian Salsa and the arranger behind many Colombian bands.
One for the fans of the Sonora Carruseles sound, and similar, this CD begins with three straight up Salsa tracks, with the remainder of the album comprising tracks which pitch one song against the other in a two-part medley style, which while being an interesting concept, could become slightly confusing on the dancefloor.
Overall a good CD which will go down well on the more mainstream Salsa dancefloors.
