The Kick ass tracks are “No Vale La Pena,” “Congo Caravali,”and “Celoso.” The tracks are typically Puerto Rican, lots of horns, breaks, solos, heavy percussion.
The rest, for some, may not be dance worthy, but great to listen to. It may not be everyone’s cuppa, and probably appeals to the salsa hardhats, but I love it. This in my opinion is one of band leader, Papo Lucca’s best releases.
