Picked this CD up on a recommendation from DJ Dennis. When you look at the back cover, you'll notice some familiar titles on there.
This album features a number of covers from this Colombian outfit of well known tracks by the likes of Tito Puente, Cheo Feliciano, Chivirico Davila, and more.
Opening things up is the title track, a nice-paced number, followed by a version of 'A La La', which will sound very familiar to everyone that's frequented a UK salsa club recently. The DLI version has been played a lot over the last few months, and this is a welcome alternative.
The album then proceeds through a variety of tempo's, with one Cha-cha number. There's some real killer material on here and this is already a standard addition to a lot of dj's folders.
Personal favourite is 'Mujer Mujer', a surefire dancefloor filler!
