This
album, in my humble opinion, is well overdue! From the very first track
(Busca lo Tuyo - Eddie Palmieri), Los Soneros just blows you away!
This cd brings you a classic combination of some amazing musicians,
Celia Cruz – La Reina De La Salsa, Hector Lavoe – La Voz, every single
track, compliments the rest.
Two tracks that really stand out for me are: Sonido Bestial – Richie
Ray and Bobby Cruz and Justicia – Eddie Palmieri and Ismael Quintana
(see the sound clips below) I love the breaks and the really strong
emphasis on the instruments (being a shines fanatic, these two tracks
are like a god send!)
There’s not a single bad track on this album, I have it in my car and
have listened to it everyday since I received it and i'm not tired of
it yet!
If you are going to invest in one cd this year, then Los Soneros has it to be it!
