 Well, if you thought NYC Salsa was a great album, wait till you get a load of the follow up album! Richie Ray and Bobby Cruz, The Lebron Brothers, Cheo Feliciano, this album, in my opinion, is pure unadulterated Mambo and you will love it, (particularly if you are an On 2 dancer)!
There are some heavy piano sections on this album (yes, I am a shines fanatic and I'm not ashamed of it either!) that will have the hairs standing up on the backs of your necks going 'd*mn that's phat'!
My top two tracks are: 'Catano - Justo Betancourt' and 'Nosotros - Monguito Santamaria', check out my selected clips below) these are the kinds of tracks that get on your Moms/Partners nerves, because if you are anything like me, they'll be stuck on repeat!
Again, a great collaboration of the Fania Posse, Celia Cruz, Cheo Feliciano, Johnny Pacheco, if you love classic tracks and are a big Fania erm Fan (lol) then you have to get this album!
