The follow up to 2007's 'El Guapo Soy Yo' sees another solid release from this Peruvian outfit, headed by Bruno Macher.
The album kicks off with 'El Justiciero', and the aggresive Trombone sound which is their hallmark, is evident from the opening bar. It's an up-tempo, hard salsa track, perfect for some of the faster dancefloors, with some fine solo percussion work.
The album retains the same energetic uptempo feel throughout, with very little let-up in pace, right through to the end. The prominence of the Trombone section ensures a very distinctive sound to the whole album.
If you like the harder style of salsa, then this album could be right up your street.
Standout tracks are 'Cuchillo En Los Ojos', 'Estas Huyendo', and 'La Muerte Quiere Bailar'.
